Environment for Enterprise

The vision of e-factor is to create and manage a range of facilities, required by new start businesses, which are not currently available in the market place.

These centres will also provide bases within the community for e-factor outreach staff and business advisors in order to support clients on their e-factor journey.

To this end e-factor have purchased properties in Immingham, Willows, Yarborough Road and Wellington Street and these properties are currently being refurbished in order to provide a variety of units suitable for a range of businesses such as retail, office, lifestyle, light industrial/ workshops and social enterprises.

In addition to these properties e-factor intend to build, over the next twelve months, new facilities to extend the number and range of incubation units available to new start businesses.

These units will be available to new businesses on easy in and out terms in order to provide confidence for those wishing to start a business thus enabling the avoidance of long term costly lease agreements and the associated onerous financial risks.

The facilities will be available for the business until confidence has been realised in the success of the respective business enabling it then to leave the incubation premises and reach out into either other supported environments or into the commercial market.

Business advisors will be available to such new start businesses to provide support and advice throughout the development period.
