Scott Owen starts a new chapter with the help of e-factor

scott-owenLocal businessman and aspiring author Scott Owen is exposing the closely guarded secrets of elite car sales professionals in a new tell all book dubbed “All Buyers Are Liars”.  The book, now being distributed by online retail giant Amazon, delves into the persuasive psyche of the salesmen who convince customers to make the second largest purchase they are ever likely to make.

Filled with anecdotes and amusing stories from his vibrant past in the motor trade, Scott hopes the book will prove to be a hit whilst also raising the profile of his new business “So Presentable”, started through e-factor.

Scott had always been enterprising spending his early years in the Bahamas, Greece and Dubai, where his father built a career in the oil industry before returning to his home town of Grimsby as a teenager. Following 12 months of unemployment as a young man, he finally got a break selling cars for a local Peugeot dealer. Working with a mentor he was highly motivated and soon learnt how to build successful relationships with customers, whilst providing a professional service. These attributes set him apart from his peers and he soon became the first person to sell 200 cars in his first year with the company.

Fast forward a few years later, Scott had worked under such well known brands as Mazda, Mitsubishi, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and BMW to name a few. His time in the industry would bring laughter, delight, frustration, excitement, stress and huge satisfaction as well as enormous pressure. Scott found his true calling in car sales but an unfortunate decline in the motor trade persuaded him to look for an alter nate career path.

scott_owen2After first speaking with an advisor at e-factor earlier this year, Scott underwent intense research and training courses to help him become his own boss and start-up for the first time.

Scott now specialises in a variety of fields for individuals and established business including copy writing, CV writing, preparing presentations right through to sales consultancy and customer prospecting. After fulfilling a lifelong ambition to write a book, Scott is excited to start an exciting chapter with his new business as well.
